On June 2, Formes et Jeux, brought together its employees, partners and customers at its Mirabel headquarters, to celebrate the launch of its new brand, Imagineo. The company will now group all of its commercial activities for parks, schools and EYCs under the new trade name.

Imagineo thus joins Atmosphäre - Furniture for Public Spaces, as the second business brand for Formes et Jeux PEB Inc.

The need to establish a more universal identity that can be effectively deployed throughout the Canadian and US markets is attributable to the significant sales growth of playground equipment, water games, protective surfaces and related products that the company has achieved.

The new name also reflects the brand’s imaginative approach to reinventing play spaces in new and creative ways.

The launch celebration included the screening of a short video that features the five principle associates and all company employees. The inspirational video presents the progress of the company from its founding 20 years ago by President Paul-Émile Beaudry to the present day. It also tells the story of a united team which management can count on to successfully face future challenges.

Reflecting the new brand’s mission to continually improve recreational opportunities and enhance healthy lifestyles, Imagineo invited author and columnist, François Cardinal to talk about his latest book Perdus sans la nature (Lost Without Nature, Why Children No longer Play Outside and How to Fix It). Cardinal’s talk proved interesting and relevant to the stakeholders present at the launch who work in various ways on the design and planning of children’s playgrounds.
